The Suites (open all year)

The Maharaja and Maharani suites form a wing of the main house, built from local laterite stone with high wood beamed ceilings and clay tiled roofs. Inspired by traditional Goan Portuguese manor houses and the castles of Rajasthan, they feature reclaimed haveli doors and traditional village crafted windows with shutters and furniture from recycled teak wood or reclaimed railway sleepers

FOOD Simply delicious, nutritious and varied plant based menu is served with gluten free and dairy options, organic where possible and increasingly home grown as our gardens continue to expand and develop, using modern permaculture ideas and ancient vedic principles to produce a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, herbs, spices, salads and healing plants.

Health Boosting Elixirs and Smoothies

Mornings begin with masala chai, organic coffee or garden teas of lemon grass, galangal and tulsi served on your verandah or by the fire place after meditation. An Elixir using lots of super foods is served before breakfast, each day having a specific health property using our own aloe vera or lemongrass from the garden. Some mornings we serve a mini smoothie using nut milks, organic cacao, maca and vanilla, which are available to order throughout the day along with an array of fruit juices and tender coconut water.

Breakfast

An abundant spread of tropical fresh fruits, homemade muesli, buffalo yogurt and preserves, local honey and homemade sourdough breads from our waste wood fired cob oven. Hot dishes could be an Indian breakfast specialty such as upma, poha, bahjis and dosas with chutney to a variety of mediterranean dishes or local farm eggs to order, perhaps poached on wilted homegrown baby spinach or masala omelet and hot rotis.

Lunch

Light lunch is served at 2pm. Creative salads and chaats with a choice of dressings, Indian street food with a twist or our much loved staff dhal of the day, served with brown rice, dahi, chutney and fired popadoms.

Dinner

Dinner gong signals 7pm inviting you to eat as much as you like from wholesome dhals, tasty curries, delicately cooked vegetables together with organic spices served with chutneys, flavoured rice, rotis and raw salad bowls of freshly picked leaves and tasty raitas, followed by scrumptious desserts including some all time favourites.
