This restore + balance retreat is set on a beautiful, idyllic seaside location in Gianyar Bali, in an award winning property. You’ll have a private guide to gain insider Bali experience. With the beach just minutes away, you’ll be able to glide your toes on glistering black sand. Our favourite is swimming in the healing saltwater pool; while enjoying the beautiful views of the padi fields.

Ruth Tan

Fed up of getting injuries from all sorts of sports over the years, Ruth decided to try out something totally new in 2011. It wasn’t just the strength and confidence that she has gained over six years of her evolving practice, it was the sense of peace and calmness that kept her coming back to the mat, which is exactly what she wants to share with others.

Trained in Hatha and Vinyasa led by well respected local teacher Tan Hee Boon in conjunction with Yoga Vidya Gurukul, Yogapoint in India, Ruth has also attended many international yoga teachers’ workshops & CETs to constantly learn and improve on her teaching. Known as the inversion and arm balance junkie, you can be sure her alignment-focused classes will be challenging with a dash of fun and a sprinkle of laughter. Rusty Davis

My purpose is to empower, inspire and love others. As I learn about myself and the many forms of the Yoga elements, I weave this knowledge into a class that is fun, energetic, uplifting and you can take something away that can empower your yoga practice and lives. I get inspiration from teachers like Dharma Mittra, Noah Maze, BKS Inyengar, Pattabhi Jois , Thomas Meyers, Sarah Powers, Osho and SN Goenka to name a few. This knowledge is powerful, unique and I strive to pass on this inspiration with methods that are clear, used all the teaching methods and is safe. I love myself by enjoying the benefits of meditation and self practice. I hope this love is passed on so people can live with more peace, harmony, awareness, joy and less suffering. I have been teaching for 14 years and practicing for 26 years. I offer Teacher Teachings, workshops, retreats and personalized service through mentor programs, Transformation Breathwork and Asana.

  • 2.30pm  – Yoga class by Ruth
  • 4pm  – *60 mins massage or cultural shopping tour 6.30pm Relax by the pool, shower and rest
  • 7pm – Dinner at resort
  • 9pm – Yoga nidra by Ruth

Day 2

  • 8am – Breakfast at resort
  • 9.30am – Yoga class by Ruth
  • 10.30am – Purification ceremony with offering making class 12pm Lunch
  • 2pm – *60 mins massage or cultural shopping tour 5pm Blacksand Beach tour and play
  • 6pm – Relax by the pool, shower and rest
  • 7pm – Dinner at resort
  • 9pm – Meditation by Rusty Davis
