Discovering the Yoga Sutra’s and philosophy was a turning point in her career and she shifted to the more holistic perspective of Yoga on the mind, body, and soul. Together with the Tibetan Buddhist teachings about the nature of the mind and cultivation of compassion, the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, the Taoist Five Elements and Traditional Chinese Meridian theory, these philosophies are the main sources of inspiration in Veerles teachings.Over the years Veerle has studied Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage, Mindfulness, Kriya Yoga, classical pranayama, Chi New Tsang (abdominal massage), Qi Qong, Myofascial Release, Yoga Therapy for stress, burn out and chronic fatigue,Yoga and Sound Therapy for Women, Classical mantra and is a certified Kids Yoga Teacher. The highest aim of yoga is to honour the wisdom of life, and trust that life offers us exactly what we need in this moment, whether we recognise it or not. Yoga is a practice, never the same, never finished, of moving with the flow of life instead of against it. Yoga has the power to heal and sooth our bodies and mind, and at the same time strengthen both of them. In this way we come closer to our own seat of innate wisdom, re-connect with who we truly are and start to realise our fullest potential. Yoga nowadays means embodying the qualities we develop on the mat and act according them into a world where more kindness, truth, love and connection is needed.
