Summer Wellness Hacks For A Healthier You

Here are a few summer tips the Om team would like to share to you keep you healthy during your summer vacation. We hope it will keep you healthy, safe and glowing wherever you are running to this summer!

1.Stay away from sunscreen that has toxic ingredients.

Try find brands that you trust and stick to them. Avoid sunscreens that contain sodium laureate sulfate, artificial fragrance, phthalates, phthalates, or mineral oil.

2. Use natural insect repellents instead of chemical ones

Some essential oils that you can consider are those that contain citronella, rosemary, and lemongrass or even lavender. 

3. Enjoy nature’s bounty

Load up on your vegetables and fruits intake. One secret tip to increase your intake of fruits and veges is to drink up a healthy dose of smoothies and vegetables juices. Add in a vegan protein power and your family will thank you for it.

4. Stay hydrated with fruits and herbs infused water

A great way to ensure you have enough fluids during your summer holidays is to naturally flavor your water with fruits and herbs. The subtle flavors without artificially flavoring your water with sugar is so refreshing.

5. Give yourself time to truly experience nature

Relax and let in your surroundings, give yourself time to bask in the sun and be in the moment with your self and your family.
